“It is my opinion that Supt. Brown should fire this officer,” 29th Ward Ald. Chris Taliaferro told members of The Leaders Network this week.

Objections have been filed to two candidates challenging Ald. Chris Taliaferro. All three challengers to Ald. Jason Ervin also face hearings later this month.
Panelists at a town hall held last month stressed the importance of having honest conversations about the disparities that West Side residents experience in the healthcare system.
The grants awarded to West Side nonprofits and businesses in the third and final round of 2022 funding ranged from $62,535 to $4 million. City officials selected from more than 600 applications citywide.
