Community resource fair

Agencies in the Austin neighborhood will be available to help residents with employment, health screenings, education counseling, ex-offender services, youth programs, obtaining a GED and other public services on May 4 from 1:30 to 6 p.m. at San Miguel School, 819 N. Leamington Ave.

Dedication ceremony for AIDS mural

A dedication ceremony for a new mural in Austin will take place Saturday, May 22 at the mural site, at the northeast corner of Chicago and Mayfield avenues. The AIDS “Austin Is Doing Something” mural is part of an awareness campaign of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. School culture and climate discussion at Marshall High School

The Office of School Turnaround at Marshall High School, 3250 W. Adams St., will host a series of meetings to discuss the turnaround model with families and community members every 2nd Thursday of the month from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the school’s room 129.
