The Thierer Family Foundation has given a $25,000 grant to Dion’s Chicago Dream, an Englewood-based grocery delivery service, to expand food deliveries in Austin.
Stop by the Austin branch at 5615 W. Race Ave. from 3 to 5 p.m. March 24. The resource fair is sponsored by the Chicago Public Library and Greater West Town Project.
Harambee Community Garden can provide lessons about how it was able to last this long – 12 years – and where it’s headed from here.
