Apply for $500 monthly subsidy by Friday’s deadline

May 13 is the deadline for Chicagoans who are 18 or older and have experienced economic hardship due to COVID-19 to apply for the monthly subsidy. A lottery will determine the 5,000 residents who will receive $500 a month for a year.
