By |

On Jan. 16, a day of remembrance for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., join the Institute for Nonviolence Chicago for a two-hour introduction to “Building the Beloved Community” using Dr. King’s principles and steps of nonviolence.

Then – in the spirit of Dr. King’s quote, “What are you doing for others?” – support the community by assembling toiletry packs for participants and neighbors in need.

Each attendee is asked to bring items for the toiletry packs: toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, socks, and gloves for women and men.

All ages are invited to the free event, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 819 N. Leamington St. Lunch will be provided.

Please RSVP here.
