It’s not too late to participate in the eighth annual walk/run that’s held i the heart of Austin. The event starts at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 16.
When it debuted in Chicago, the musical Paradise Square provided an opportunity for conversation about bridging communities. It also left local residents expressing a desire to see more live performance and other events in Austin.
Registrations are still being accepted for Saturday’s Global 6K for Water walk/run organized by World Vision. The 3.7 mile event, being held virtually for a second year because of the pandemic, raises money to provide clean water around the world.
