City launches events, days of service to keep youth engaged during spring break

One day of service will be held in Austin on April 15 from 12 to 4 p.m. Check the web site MyCHIMyFuture.org for more information, and follow @MyCHIMyFuture on Instagram. CPS students will be out of school until April 18th.

BMO Harris Bank giving $10 million to bolster Austin

The donadtion – the largest corporate gift in United Way of Metro Chicago’s history – will be used to help implement Austin’s quality of life plan and to support social service infrastructure and development in the city’s most-populated community area.
