A fitness group is offering free classes to men in Columbus Park. The 45-minute sessions are held on Monday mornings beginning at 5:30 a.m.
Testing will be done from 12 to 4 p.m. at 1333 N. Laramie Ave. Free masks, hand sanitizer and youth bike helmets also will be available.
The city shut down the Columbus Park testing site in July. Residents can be tested at four other Austin locations, including Loretto Hospital and PCC Community Wellness Center.
Register for the sunrise bike ride, which starts at 7 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 27 at Columbus Park, 500 S. Central Ave. Don’t worry if you don’t have a bike; free Divvy bikes will be available.

Representatives from The Loretto Hospital, the Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network, and the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois recently discussed the demand for organs, especially among African Americans, Hispanics and Asians.
Gift of Hope and Loretto Hospital are celebrating National Minority Donor Awareness Month with a series of activities at the hospital, including an hour-long virtual conversation about health disparities and organ donation on Aug. 19th.
Stop by Bethel New Life, 1140 N. Lamon Ave., between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Aug. 13 to get a non-painful mouth swab. Results are expected in three to five days. You may register to reduce your wait time.
Austin Coming Together in partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository will be distributing food from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 30, while Forty Acres Fresh Market will hold its weekly pop-up market at Austin Town Hall from 1 to 6 p.m.
Walk-ups are welcome from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the North Austin library branch, 5724 W. North Ave. No IDs are required; free masks, hand sanitizer and community resources will be available.
