State lawmakers won’t see much competition this election cycle, but committeemen races could get interesting now that the Nov. 30th filing deadline has passed.
While other West Side contenders won in a landslide, the alderman and congressman are neck in neck.
Registered voters have until 7 p.m. to vote for candidates running for local, state and national positions.
The two candidates discussed their views about the position’s responsibility and addressed callers concerns about creating jobs on the West Side.
The forum gave West Side voters an opportunity to learn about contenders whose names will appear on the March 20 ballot.
