One Austin woman urges West Siders to carefully weigh the options when voting for mayor, alderman.
Chicagoans may cast their votes through April 4 – or on election day.
Former candidate Bob Galhotra will moderate the 60-minute event 7 p.m. March 18 at Redeemer Church, 6740 W. North Ave.
The forum, set for 6:30 p.m. March 11 at 5730 W. Division St., will be held one day after the deadline to register to vote in the April 7 runoff.
The Westside chapter of the NAACP is sponsoring forums March 26 for the 29th Ward and April 2 for the 37th Ward.
There’s still time to cast your vote for Chicago City Council and mayor as well as weigh in on whether the city should have an elected school board.
Four candidates including the incumbent hope for voters’ support on Tuesday.
Eight candidates are vying for the right to represent Austin, Galewood and other parts of the West Side.
Chicagoans can go to any one of 51 sites across the city to cast their ballots for the city council and mayor.
