There are several locations on the West Side providing COVID-19 shots and boosters at no cost.
The shots will be given at the Walgreens store at 5222 W. Madison St. Appointments must be made in advance; no walk-ins will be accepted.
Anyone 12 or over can get vaccinated June 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Michele Clark High School, 5101 W. Harrison St. The Pfizer (ages 12+) and Johnson & Johnson (ages 18+) vaccines will be available. For 12- to 17-year-olds, a parent or legal guardian must be one site to sign the consent form.
Five hundred doses will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 27 at By The Hand Club For Kids, 415 N. Laramie Ave. Register ahead of time online or by calling.
Ald. Chris Taliaferro is hosting a free walk-in clinic with assistance from the Chicago Department of Health from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 6272 W. North Ave.
