It’s been nearly 14 years since 15-year-old Yasmin Acree went missing from her Austin home, yet the family still has no answers about her whereabouts. Rev. Ira Acree, one of Yasmin’s relatives, is pushing for answers once again. The family and West Side faith leaders are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to Yasmin.
Ten years after she was last seen, friends and family of 15-year-old Yasmin Acree said they still hold out hope they will discover what happened to the honors student who disappeared on Martin Luther King Day in 2008.
Family and friends of Yasmin Acree gathered Wednesday to mark the six-year anniversary of the high school freshman’s disappearance. They believe they know who’s responsible and question what police are doing to solve the case.
