The 29th and 37th Ward candidates discussed the issues Saturday at a forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters.
Email austintalks@gmail.com the questions you think should be posed at the upcoming 29th and 37th Ward debates.
Deborah Graham and Chris Taliaferro are set to debate the issues at other events before the April 7th runoff.
Former candidate Bob Galhotra will moderate the 60-minute event 7 p.m. March 18 at Redeemer Church, 6740 W. North Ave.
The forum, set for 6:30 p.m. March 11 at 5730 W. Division St., will be held one day after the deadline to register to vote in the April 7 runoff.
The 29th Ward incumbent will face Chicago Police Sgt. Chris Taliaferro six weeks from now.
There’s still time to cast your vote for Chicago City Council and mayor as well as weigh in on whether the city should have an elected school board.
Eight candidates are vying for the right to represent Austin, Galewood and other parts of the West Side.
Six of the eight candidates answered questions at a forum sponsored by the newly formed Advocates for Neighborhood Development and Empowerment.
Incumbent Ald. Deborah Graham was center of attacks by rivals; she faces seven challenges Feb. 24.
