Austin Polytech students protest firings

Upset about several teachers being let go, more than 100 students walked out of classes earlier this week, according to the Chicago News Cooperative.

There will be plenty to do and see Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Michele Clark High School.

The redistricting map can now be viewed online, and two hearings to discuss the proposal have been set for this weekend and early next week.
