A House in Austin provides more than 5,000 diapers each year. Contribute this week, during National Diaper Need Awareness Week. Online donations being accepted through Oct. 2.
Formula, diapers, backpacks, school supplies, and clothing and coats will be handed out from 12 to 2 p.m. Oct. 23 at 5701 W. Division St. by the Austin Childcare Providers Network.
The City Bureau will be hosting a free event 6 to 8 p.m. May 16 at New Moms, 5317 W. Chicago Ave. Come with your questions about maternal health. Refreshments will be provided.
The Nov. 18th event will be held at PCC’s birth center in Berwyn. PCC also operates the Austin Family Health Center at 5425 W. Lake St.
Three of the babies were delivered by Austin mothers at the Birth Center at PCC. A special women’s night out event will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 24th at the Berwyn facility.
