One Austin woman urges West Siders to carefully weigh the options when voting for mayor, alderman.
Make sure you know the schedule for your area now that the city’s sweepers are out in full force.

Just one of the four local leaders who represent Austin respond to the chance to detail their plans for the 24th, 28th, 29th and 37th Wards.
The former three-term alderman will return to the Chicago City Council in mid-May, along with many other new members.
Voters will choose between Ald. Sharon Dixon and challenger Michael Chandler. Polls close at 7 p.m.
Ald. Sharon Dixon hopes to hang onto the seat she won from her opponent four years ago. The election is Tuesday.
The Chicago Board of Election Commissioners said the issues they learned about were not out of the ordinary. Officials will be taking calls again April 5 when the runoff in the 24th Ward takes place.
The ballot has been narrowed from 18 candidates to two. The current alderman, Sharon Dixon, faces Michael Chandler, who used to represent the area.
Polls will be open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
