The third annual Ghan-Again Austin Music Fest will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 9 at Austin Town Hall Park, 5610 W. Lake St. The free event will feature live music and dancing, food, games and vendors.

Friday, Sept. 1 is the early bird registration deadline for runners and walkers wanting to participate in the Austin POWER 5k. This year’s event will be held Sept. 16 and start at Chicago and Mayfield.
Residents whose homes and/or businesses were damaged in the summer storms can get help with their applications for assistance at two sites in Austin: 4851 W. North Ave. and 500 S. Central Ave.
