The event, which includes a school supply giveaway parade, will be held at Levin Park, 5458 W. Kinzie Parkway.
Aetna Better Health of Illinois will. host the free event from 12 to 4 p.m. July 30 at Moore Park, 5085 W. Adams St.
The 15th Police District and faith leaders will host several community events throughout the summer in an effort to reduce violence.
Stop by the Austin branch at 5615 W. Race Ave. from 3 to 5 p.m. March 24. The resource fair is sponsored by the Chicago Public Library and Greater West Town Project.
Stop by the community fall harvest resource fair and music extravaganza Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The free event will be held at By The Hand, 415 N. Laramie Ave. Learn about how to get access to lending, rental assistance, free legal help and more. Lunch will be served at 12 p.m.
Austin residents are invited to the event, which starts at 10 a.m. April 1. There will be raffle prizes, food distribution, COVID-19 testing, PPE distribution and a community cleanup.
