The former chief of staff for U.S. Rep. Danny Davis won a close race Tuesday, beating a field of four other candidates seeking the Democratic nomination.
Numerous races – including the open 1st District Cook County Board seat – appear on the March 18 ballot. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
