Horizon Science Academy Belmont opened this fall in Austin, and student ambassadors recently gave a tour to local leaders, including Ald. Emma Mitts (37th).
City, state and federal agencies have spent millions of dollars on projects in which West Side minister John Abercrombie played a leading role, yet the results have been mixed, the paper reports.
Local School Council members and others question Ald. Emma Mitts’ support.
