More than 300 programs at 70 locations across the city will be offered beginning Feb. 22.
Complete an application now for programs that start the week of Sept. 28.
There are 9,000 paid opportunities for students 14 and older enrolled in school.
Programs start in schools, parks and many other locations the week of Feb. 2.
Some participants in After School Matters will earn a stipend for the fall program, which starts Sept. 29.
After School Matters is accepting applications for paid apprenticeships and internships that start the week of June 23.
The former South African president was honored Thursday at a pre-Kwanzaa performance at The Sankofa Cultural Arts Center. The Leaders Network of Chicago will remember him with prayers and tributes starting at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 10 at the Columbus Park Refectory.
Hundreds of programs citywide – including several in Austin – begin Jan. 27, so teens should apply now.
The theatre collaborated with several other groups to put on a performance at Columbus Park. The citywide series ends Sept. 7 in Humboldt Park.
