Free school supplies and other resources will be available at several back-to-school fairs, just in time for CPS’ first day of school Aug. 22.
All are welcome at the free event, which will be held from 12 to 3 p.m. Aug. 20 at Marshall High School Campus Park, 3300 W. Jackson Blvd. There will be food, health screenings, bounce houses, entertainment and more.

The group I Am A Gentleman will provide more than 500 haircuts to Chicago area males. The free haircuts will be given by appointment only on Mondays and Wednesdays through early September.
The event, which includes a school supply giveaway parade, will be held at Levin Park, 5458 W. Kinzie Parkway.
