Rep. La Shawn Ford, the bill’s sponsor, will be on WVON 1690 at 8 p.m. tonight to discuss the bill that would make it illegal for employers to request social networking account names and passwords.
The funds will assist residents with purchasing and repairing vacant homes within a portion of the 28th Ward, as well as the 27th Ward.
The Chicago Park District program now requires interested individuals to create an account, and early registration is recommended.
The settlement, that will affect Austin’s Nash Elementary, was made to prevent court action against CPS.
Children up to 18-years-old are eligible to participate in the competition, and entries are due March 31.
The 28th Ward alderman will hold a town hall meeting Wednesday at 9 a.m.
While other West Side contenders won in a landslide, the alderman and congressman are neck in neck.
Registered voters have until 7 p.m. to vote for candidates running for local, state and national positions.
The partnership with Matrix Tooling, Inc. & Matrix Plastic Products is in line with the West Side school’s mission to provide students opportunities that prepare them for careers in cutting-edge technologies.
The new tool was designed to provide information to parents trying to enroll students at selective schools throughout the city.
