At least 4,000 people gathered in Austin Saturday to enjoy music, food and family fun along the Soul City Corridor along Chicago Avenue.

At least 4,000 people gathered in Austin Saturday to enjoy music, food and family fun along the Soul City Corridor along Chicago Avenue.
There will be food vendors and live blues music throughout the day, June 11th, starting at noon at 5720 W. Chicago Ave.
Stop by Austin Town Hall, 5610 W. Lake St., July 8 from noon to 7 p.m. There will be food vendors, food trucks and house music. Vendors include Ms. Tittles Cupcakes, Doom Street Eats, Caryolyn’s Krisps, Tatas Tacos, Mary Jane Cafe, Yum Dum and Robinson’s No. 1 Ribs.
Ben’s Bar-Be-Cue, located at 5931 W. North Ave., may be the first Austin restaurant to be part of the annual food festival, which runs from July 5-9.
