Space is still available in many West Side programs offering arts, crafts, sports, field trips and other daily activities.
Eligible students must apply by the June 11 deadline.
The three-part event, running from June to August at Columbus, Douglas and Garfield parks, will feature local acts, gospel choirs and artists Musiq Soulchild and Syleena Johnson.
The program was part of National Volunteer Week and included Austin’s Frederick Douglass Academy.
