Holiday concert Saturday

The Westside Instructional String and Harp program will perform from 12 to 1 p.m. Dec. 6 at Garfield Park Golden Dome, 100 N. Central Park.

The performance, held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Columbus Park Refectory, will feature dance, woodwinds, percussion, harp and singing.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream also will be performed July 29 at Riis Park and Aug. 10 at Columbus Park.

The performance is a musical tribute to American jazz singer Billie Holiday and France’s revered chanteuse Edith Piaf.

The Westside Health Authority sponsors its second annual community stage.
