The dedication will be held at 4800 West Chicago Avenue 10:30 a.m. Friday, which would have been the South African leader’s 96th birthday.

The former South African president was honored Thursday at a pre-Kwanzaa performance at The Sankofa Cultural Arts Center. The Leaders Network of Chicago will remember him with prayers and tributes starting at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 10 at the Columbus Park Refectory.
