The Austin facility, one of the community’s largest employers, heavily relies on the federal-state funding, which puts its future at risk, state Rep. Camille Lilly said last week.
Consumers must enroll in the Illinois Marketplace program by Monday, Dec. 23 and pay their premiums by Dec. 31 to be covered starting Jan. 1.
West Side residents can start registering for the new state program Oct. 1.
