On Dec. 19th, a food giveaway will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. (while supplies last) at the 29th Ward office, 6272 W. North Ave. Then at 1 p.m. a Christmas a community celebration will take place at the Good Neighbor Center, 5437 W. Division
The Good Neighbor Campaign is hosting a listening session at 2 p.m. June 20.
State Rep. La Shawn Ford helped secure the $1 million grant in the new state budget, which took effect July 1. The money will help fund the Westside Health Authority’s ongoing “Good Neighbor Campaign.” Last year, the campaign received a $250,000 state grant.
Celebrate summer and promote peace at the the monthly meeting of the Good Neighbor Campaign. It will be held 6 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Westside Health Authority Youth Development Center, 5437 W. Division St.
The Westside Health Authority’s Good Neighbor Campaign honored the work being done by first responders and teachers. In all, five teachers and two first responders were celebrated at the May 14th event.
The Good Neighbor Campaign will be recognizing the Chicago Police Department’s first response team as well as an exemplary teacher at its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. May 14 at 5437 W. Division.
