The Project Stamp photo project, organized by the local non-profit Alt Space Chicago, documents everyday residents in their community. With help from Austin Coming Together, the group will soon be displaying the images throughout Austin.
Saturday’s event will feature presentations and mini-workshops from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; activities will start at Root Riot Harambee Garden, 500 N. Waller Ave., and additional presentations will take place at GlennArt Farm, 5749 W. Midway Park, and St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 5710 W. Midway Park.
There will be goat milking, live blues music, free lemonade and fresh farm products on sale from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at GlennArt Pasture, one block east of the farm at 457 N. Waller. From 8 to 9 a.m watch goat milking — or try your hand at it yourself — at GlennArt Farm (behind the house at 5749 W. Midway Park).
