Austin youth invited to Halloween celebrations

One party is being held from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 31 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 846 N. Menard, and the other will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at the 15th Police District, 5701 W. Madison St.

The Austin Town Hall Advisory Board is hosting the Oct. 27th event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be games, raffles, food and more.
The Chicago Park District invites West Side families for a night out March 15 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Columbus Park, 500 S. Central Ave.
Despicable Me 2, Inside Out and Zootopica are among the featured films that will be shown in and around Austin.
BUILD organized the evening of fun and games at Christ the King School, 5088 W. Jackson, from 6 to 10 p.m.
Take part in the fun and games from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Jan. 29 at Christ the King Jesuit College Prep, 5058 W. Jackson.
The Chicago Defender is sponsoring the event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 6 at Garfield Park, 100 N. Central Park.
Swimming, stepping and more will take place Sunday, May 17 at both locations to help the Chicago Park District launch night out in the parks.
The 4th annual event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Loretto Hospital.
