The Austin Town Hall Advisory Board is hosting the Oct. 27th event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be games, raffles, food and more.
Residents are asked to join family and friends on July 25 as they continue to search for answers in the 2016 death of 15-year-old Demetrius Griffin Jr.
The next round of classes begins Nov. 28th and runs through Christmas week. Austin Childcare Providers Network is offering the training every Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at 5714 W. Division. To register, call now.

Despicable Me 2, Inside Out and Zootopica are among the featured films that will be shown in and around Austin.
Congressman Danny K. Davis and Sankofa Safe Child Initiative are sponsoring the day-long event to Sheridan Correctional Center June 11, which includes free food and a resource fair at the end of the day.
