A community organizer says even more should be done to keep residents in their homes and out of foreclosure.
Its West Division branch is slated to close today, and leaders and members of the community say they’re angry representatives didn’t properly notify the community.
Despite accusations the financial institution is abandoning the community, a spokeswoman said they hope to open a new location in Austin.
The group will be honored by the Woodstock Institute at a conference being held Thursday in Downtown Chicago.
