The Chicago Sinfonietta, Circle Urban Ministries and Catalyst Circle Rock will kick off a series of events May 4 in Austin.
The Chicago Westside NAACP chapter’s youth council will hold a talent competition at 5 p.m. Dec. 28th.
Admission is free to the Oct. 1 event, which begins at 4 p.m. and will be held at Greater Holy Temple Ministries at 5906-10 W. Chicago Ave.
The music of Ella Fitzgerald, “the first lady of song,” will be featured at 7 p.m. July 14th as part of the night out in the parks series.
Students from the Chicago West Community Music Center will perform May 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Columbus Park Refectory, 5701 W. Jackson Blvd.
The free session will be held March 26 and then again on March 28 at 5615 W. Race Ave.
Chicago West Community Music Center (CWCMC) invites you to “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” 3 p.m. Sunday, June 21 at Columbus Park Refectory.
Westside Instructional String and Harp program presents its spring recital 11 a.m. May 30 at Garfield Park Golden Dome.
The Westside Instructional String and Harp program will perform from 12 to 1 p.m. Dec. 6 at Garfield Park Golden Dome, 100 N. Central Park.
The performance, held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Columbus Park Refectory, will feature dance, woodwinds, percussion, harp and singing.
