PUSH Excel Oratory Society and the Chicago Westside NAACP Youth Council invites K-12 students to twice-monthly workshops. The next session is at 9 a.m. March 18 at Friendship Baptist Church, 5200 W. Jackson Blvd.
Dietetic interns from Dominican University will provide tips at sessions that start March 13 and run through the end of the month at the Austin facility.
The closed session will be held March 10 at Austin College and Career Academy.

The Chicago Action Alliance will host a panel discussion at Third Unitarian Church, 301 N. Mayfield, from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 25.
