Monterrey Security – in partnership with BUILD Chicago and The Resurrection Project – invite West Side residents to participate in a live art contest, enjoy music and food, and take part in other activities the evening of Nov. 15.
The Westside Health Authority invites local residents to the free event from 4 to 7 p.m. at 5437 W. Division. Other events are being held at St. Paul Lutheran School, 846 N. Menard, and the 25th Police District, 5555 W. Grand Ave.
Roman Morrow and St. Paul Lutheran School are offering free admission to the Oct. 31 party at 846 N. Menard. A parent must accompany 4- to 9-year-olds; the building can accommodate 300 people, so first-come, first-served.
The Chicago Police Department’s 25th District, at 5555 W. Grand Ave., is hosting the event from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.
West Side residents – including those who live in 60644 and 60651 – can make an appointment through 2017 at the Tree House Humane Society, which is also providing some vaccinations and microchipping.
