Appointments are being accepted online and by phone at the new clinic, which is located in the West Loop. To qualify, patients must be Illinois residents who are eligible for Medicaid, or who are uninsured with a household income that is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.

BUILD Chicago will be celebrating youth at an end-of-summer showcase Aug. 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Michele Clark High School, 5101 W. Harrison St.
The group I Am A Gentleman will provide more than 500 haircuts to Chicago area males. The free haircuts will be given by appointment only on Mondays and Wednesdays through early September.
The event, which includes a school supply giveaway parade, will be held at Levin Park, 5458 W. Kinzie Parkway.
Join the community ride for peace. Meet at Bethel New Life, 4950 S. Thomas, at 9 a.m. Aug. 6. The ride will begin at 10 a.m. All ages are welcome. Water and snacks will be provided.
This is one of several back-to-school events being held this month on the West Side. The first day of school for CPS students is Aug. 22.
Stop by Moore Park, 5085 W. Adams, from 5 to 7 p.m Aug. 2 to spend time with your neighbors and prevent crime. There will be free refreshments, games and giveaways. Wear red, and bring a chair.
