Let us use the power of prayer to defeat the devil. The power is in the 50-plus churches in Austin.
We need to earnestly pray for our community and the families in Austin. We are asking every woman at noon Sunday, July 12 to bring the church to the streets. Men are welcome to pray together for one hour.
All “first ladies” and female pastors are invited to lead the group as Deborahs (prayer leaders).
Our community is in need of prayer.
According to a recent analysis by DNAinfo, there have been more than 12,000 reported shootings in Chicago since 2012 – with more than 900 of them occurring in Austin. There were more than 2,000 homicides reported the last three-plus years; about 150 of them occurred in Austin, the analysis shows.
