A bigger, better Galewood-North Avenue farmers market begins its second year on Sunday June 8th – with free hotdogs, 11 a.m. while they last.

Farm-fresh fruits, veggies, and cheese; fresh-baked bread and pastry; honey and jams all will be available.  There will be food trucks, too.

The farmer’s market runs every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Oct. 12 in the Charter One parking lot, 6700 W. North Ave.

It’s a project of the Northwest Side Community Coalition and the North Avenue Neighborbors Association of Oak Park.

For more information, visit the market’s Facebook page or  (708) 772-3701.
