I am humbly asking the powers that be to immediately replace fallen 1oth District state Rep. Derrick Smith with Blake Sercye.
Tuesday, a federal jury convicted Smith of bribery, so he will lose his legislative seat.
I – Jim Allen – strongly believe that as a lawyer and fighter, Blake is the best man to represent the 10th District! I am personally calling on Rep. Camille Lilly, Sen. Don Harmon, Sen. Kimberly Lightford and Rep. La Shawn K. Ford to support Blake Sercye as the next 10th District state representative.

Blake will bring resources so needed to the 10th District. His experience as a lawyer and graduate of Princeton University and the University of Chicago is desperately needed on the West Side of Chicago and within the 10th District.
He ran earlier this year in the Democratic primary to replace retiring Cook County Commissioner Earlean Collins. Richard Boykin, a former aide to Congressman Danny Davis, won that election.
Blake Sercye is supported by some of the most powerful politicians in the state of Illinois. We need this great young man in office! PLEASE ask Illinois House Speaker Micheal Madigan and Senate President John Cullerton to consider, no, to replace Derrick Smith with Black Sercye.
