Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at hundreds of sites across the city, including dozens on the West Side.
Voters will be casting their ballots for governor, U.S. Senate, the Illinois General Assembly, the U.S. House and a number of other races.
Austin residents may check their voter status and find their polling place here.
Chicagoans who aren’t registered to vote can do so Tuesday as a grace-period voter.
Grace-period voters must present two forms of identification, at least one of which shows the voter’s current address. Acceptable forms of identification include:
- driver’s license
- state identification card
- passport
- current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck stub or other government document that shows your name and address.
