After several weeks of meetings with 62 organizations, the Chicago Coalition for Mayor has arrived at a short list of candidates.
The names of Moseley Braun, Davis, Meeks and Rogers have been submitted to the coalition and accepted by a majority vote of the body, according to a press release the group sent out today.
Each of the four candidates will have an opportunity for a final interview today, Oct. 25, then the committee “can begin the process to bring forth one consensus candidate.”

Eleven candidates spoke at an Oct. 16 candidates forum the coalition held as it decides whom to back in the Feb. 22, 2011, election.
