The People’s Unity Coalition – working with dozens of community organizations from across the city – will host a mayoral forum on the West Side Thursday night.
The event will be held Jan. 26 at New Mount Pilgrim MB Church, 4301 W. Washington Blvd.; it starts at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m.
Childcare will be provided, and there will be ASL and Spanish interpretation. The site is wheelchair accessible. Make sure to register online at bit.ly/PuP2023.
The event is focused on a progressive platform developed in partnership with neighborhood residents across the city. The People’s Unity coalition is made up of neighborhood and community organizations working on housing, education, air and environmental quality, community safety and worker’s rights.
