| Austin residents in need can pick up free produce, frozen meat and dry goods on Thursdays starting May 14 at By The Hand Club For Kids, 415 S. Laramie. The free pop-up pantry will be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. through June 18. The pop-up, one of several being held throughout the city, is being run by the Greater Chicago Food Depository, which has teamed up with Austin Coming Together and six other community- and faith-based groups on the city’s West and South sides. |
