Labor Day sing at Third Unitarian Church

Third Unitarian Church will host a special Labor Day “sing” musical performance 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 6.

The church’s annual tribute to workers around the world will be led by Mark Dvorak, an award-winning Chicago native.

Dvorak performs more than 200 dates each year and has a 30-year career woven from the disparate threads of touring musician, educator and community builder. In 2012, WFMT’s Rich Warren, host of “The Midnight Special,” named Dvorak “Chicago’s official troubadour.

All are welcome Sunday at the free performance, which will be held in the church sanctuary, 301 N. Mayfield.
