The Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC) will host “Woman Warrior Wednesdays: Accessing Resources for Female Veterans,” a series of three events to raise awareness about the local resources available to women veterans of the armed services.

The first event – timed to coincide with Women’s History Month – will take place Wednesday, March 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Goodcity, 5049 W. Harrison St.

The center’s experts and its community partners will share how they are making their services available to armed forces veterans, including access to entrepreneurial tools, medical support and educational opportunities.

Additional Woman Warrior Wednesdays will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. March 18 at the University of Chicago, Jackson Park Boardroom, 1452 E. 53rd Street, 2nd floor, in Hyde Park; and March 25 at National Veterans Art Museum, 4041 N. Milwaukee in Wicker Park.

The events are free and open to the public but require registration.
