In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., State Farm insurance agent Darren Tillis is renting a theater in Cicero to host a free viewing of the movie Selma.
The showing will be 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19 at the AMC Showplace Movie Theatre, 4779 W. Cermak Road.
Tillis said in a press release his goal is to host an inter-generational educational event where both senior citizens and youth can visually experience the leadership of Dr. King and the contributions of others to the civil rights movement.
