The Daily Whale web site posted a story this week about Ald. Deborah Graham. One topic covered in the Q and A was domestic violence, an issue that Graham experienced years ago.

In their recent conversation, Ald. Graham tells reporter Tom Butala that services now being offered to domestic violence victims weren’t available when she was getting out of an abusive relationship.

Other topics discussed in the piece: Graham’s tenure as a state lawmaker, and Chicago ordinances on pawn shops and curfews for local youth.
