The Austin walk/run club starts this 8 a.m. Saturday, April 12 in front of the Columbus Park Refectory on Jackson.
All levels of experience are welcome every Saturday morning for a group walk or run. Some will be gathering to begin training for the Chicago Marathon through Team World Vision and the Austin/Chicago team.
This group will also be seeking to raise money for clean water in Africa, knowing that every $50 raised provides one person with clean water for life in Africa.
There’s still room on the marathon team.
