Community activists and residents of Chicago’s West Side will gather to honor and to say farewell to Sgt. Robert McGaha, who died this week following a long illness.

He was a dedicated Chicago police officer for 27 years. He served the department and the citizens of Chicago with distinction and dignity. He will be remembered for the positive impact he made on the lives of West Side residents during a tribute 10:30 a.m. Friday at Branch 43 Courthouse, 3150 W. Flournoy (at Kedzie).

Come witness a community’s appreciation for this valiant officer and gentleman.
